Welcome to the Christian Theological Seminary Scholarship Portal. This portal provides access to real-time scholarship Information for CTS Donors, Administrators and Staff.
Christian Theological Seminary offers various renewable institutional scholarships to support our newly admitted and continuing students. The student's admissions application will serve as their CTS scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded to degree-seeking students at the time of their initial admission to their degree program based on their merit. The number of scholarships is limited, and scholarship recipients are selected on a competitive base. The CTS scholarship process is as follows:
- Admission's committee recommends students to financial aid for scholarships. (Impact, Pastoral Excellence or Disciples of Christ/United Church of Christ)
- Scholarship Offers are sent to the students.
- Student either accepts or declines scholarship offer
- Student are required to write a thank you letter to the donor of their scholarship funds.
- Accepted scholarships are posted on the student's accunt once they are enrolled for the semester using a generic scholarship placeholder.
- Students are then matched to donor's scholarships based on scholarship criteria.
- Students must continue to meet scholarship requirements to retain scholarship.
The Saltsburg Second Chance Scholarship is awarded through the Academic Dean's Office and students must contact the Dean's office to complete a Saltsburg Second Chance Scholarship Application.
